DUDELOCK

Every spell has a price. Every victory has a cost.

DUDELOCK is a fast-paced local arena duel where two spellcasters fight on a floating dungeon platform. The objective is simple: knock your opponent out of the arena before they do the same to you.

Win 3 rounds to claim victory.


The Core Idea

DUDELOCK is built around one simple but powerful idea: you can always become stronger, but never for free.

During the match, players collect coins, enter the shop, buy spells or upgrades, and receive a permanent malus in exchange. Every decision makes the duel more chaotic, more dangerous, and more personal.

Buy power. Accept the curse. Survive your own choices.

K.E.V.I.N.’s Shop

Meet K.E.V.I.N. - Keep Every Variable In Negotiation.

K.E.V.I.N. sells spells, upgrades, and questionable advantages during the duel. Each purchase gives you power, but also applies a permanent penalty.

Possible maluses include:

  • Longer cooldowns
  • Weaker stability
  • Higher shop prices
  • Reduced movement
  • Less control over your character

The stronger you become, the more fragile your situation gets.


Spells

Each player can hold up to 3 spells.

Spells can be bought and upgraded to increase their size, power, cooldown efficiency, and knockback potential.

Current spells include:

  • Fireball - simple, direct, dangerous.
  • Triple Lightning - wider pressure and stronger control.
  • Tornado - chaotic zone control with knockback potential.

Stability System

DUDELOCK is not about health points. It is about Stability.

Every hit lowers your Stability. The lower it gets, the farther you fly when hit.

This creates a constant tension between aggression and survival. You can still fight back when you are weakened, but every mistake becomes more dangerous.


Game Modes

1 Player

Fight against K.E.V.I.N.’s bot.

The bot collects coins, buys spells, upgrades itself, and adapts during the match. It plays by the same dangerous rules as you.

2 Players Local

Play side by side on the same screen.

Same arena. Same shop. Same bad decisions.

Controller is recommended for the best experience.


Tips

  • Collect coins to buy spells and upgrades.
  • Every purchase gives you a permanent malus.
  • Low Stability makes you much easier to knock off.
  • The losing player receives bonus coins in the next round.
  • The bot can use the shop too, so do not let it scale for free.
